Within Fast Accurate Bids, the term “custom items” means any items that you cannot select from the Choose Item Page because you do not have access to a supplier connector for the company from which you intend to order them.
The Custom Items Page lets you set up and manage your list of custom items for use on bids.
When you add a custom item to the Design and Pricing Page, Fast Accurate Bids treats the custom item in the same manner as an item selected from the Choose Item Page.
Adding Custom Items to a Bid
The Custom Items Page lets you add an item to a bid that you cannot get by selecting it from the Choose Item Page. To see the Custom Items Page, click the Show Custom Item button on the Design and Pricing Page.
You can add an item on-the-fly to the Custom Item page by clicking the Add Row button and entering the item information in the blank row that appears at the top of the main table on the page. The only required field is Style, but if you do not add information in the other fields, the corresponding fields will be blank when you send the information to the Line Items Page.
You can send an item to the Design and Pricing Page by either clicking the Send to Design and Pricing button or right-clicking and choosing Send to Design and Pricing from the menu that appears.
When you send a custom item to the Design and Pricing, Fast Accurate Bids automatically saves list and closes the Custom Items Page for you.

Consider creating a custom item for use when printing items supplied by your customer. Enter Customer as the supplier, leave Item Cost set to $0.00 and enter Items supplied by customer as the description.
